Steven R. Heape
Steven R. Heape is the founder and President of Rich-Heape
Films, Inc., a multi-faceted film and video production company. Heape, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation,
creates, produces, and distributes informational, educational, and entertaining
videos related to the Native Peoples worldwide. Rich-Heape Films, Inc. is dedicated to informing, educating, and
encouraging the awareness of tribal histories, cultures, languages, and
aspirations of Native American peoples. His vision of bringing Native American subjects to a public audience has
seen the production of six multiple award winning projects. The latest
documentary release was called Black Indians: An American Story, with
narration by James Earl Jones and music by the Neville Brothers.
